Administrative Assistant
Job Description
Administrative assistants carry out a range of clerical and administrative duties. They aid managers and their administrative staff colleagues in carrying out their responsibilities and tasks, assuring continuous, easy, and efficient operations.
Objectives of the Role
- Help achieve the company’s targets and goals
- Minimize or otherwise remove distractive tasks from the administrative staff’s workload, in aid of further productivity
- Organize and help streamline the company’s tasks pipeline
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks in and around the office as assigned
- Develop good rapport and nurture relationships with colleagues and business partners
- Uphold the security and integrity of information
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Receive and sort incoming documents
- Provide general support to visitors
- Help in the procurement of office supplies and other materials
- Assist in maintaining the office filing system
- Assist in encoding, digitizing, and filing documents
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
Qualifications
- Good people and communication skills
- Completed at least 2 years of College
- Any College Course welcome
- Capable of basic computing
- Working knowledge of basic office equipment such as printers, etc.
- Keen attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Willing to undergo training
