Choice Service Providers Inc (CSPI), being an industry pioneer and one of the foremost players in client acquisition services, advocates for safe and legitimate practices in collecting and processing data, making all stakeholders’ data privacy and information security an integral part of the services and practices of the company.

This privacy statement, hereafter referred to as “statement” explains how CSPI, hereafter may be referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”, explains how we collect, protect, use and share information you provide us with when you access our collection of websites, social media groups, social media pages, social media accounts, and the likes (collectively referred to as “digital properties”), or when you apply for, or avail of our services.

  1. As may be used in this statement:
    1. “Customer”, or “Client” refers to an individual who (a) has engaged one of our duly authorized agents for the purposes of, but not limited to, inquiring about products or services that our principal clients offer, apply for the same, or ask for assistance in dealing with the same;
    2. “User” refers to an individual – human person, legal entity, or any entity representing any such person or legal entity who accesses our digital properties;
    3. “Information” refers to a single piece of information;
    4. “Data” refers to a collection of information, regardless of quantity, packaging or grouping;

II. What We May Collect From You

  1. Depending on the nature of your interaction with us, we may collect the following information from you, in the course of a legitimate purpose (such as applying for a product or service our principal clients offer that we sell):
    1. Your name, and personal particulars such as your mobile phone or landline phone, your email address, birthdate, educational attainment;
    2. Specimen signatures and signatures attesting to understanding, concurrence, and the like;
    3. Government issued Identification Document (IDs) details, photographs of the whole or part thereof;
    4. Financial information such as income, expenses, balances, investments, taxes, insurances, financial transaction history etc;
    5. Employment or occupational details;
    6. Business interests and assets;
    7. Recordings of our communication with you
  2. As a policy, we generally do not collect any personal data unless it is provided to us voluntarily by you directly or via a third party who has been duly authorized by you to disclose your personal data to us (your “authorized representative”) after you or your authorized representative have been notified of the purposes for which the data is collected, and you or your authorized representative have provided written consent to the collection and usage of your personal data for those purposes. We will endeavor to seek your consent before collecting any additional personal data and before using or processing your personal data for a purpose you have not been notified to prior, except where permitted or authorized by law.

III. How We Use Your Data

  1. We may also collect, use, and keep your personal opinions or comments that have been made known to us via feedback mechanisms or responses to surveys we have initiated, not necessarily conducted by us, or any other interaction that you may have had with our employees, agents, or authorized representatives.
  2. We use the data we have collected to deliver to you and our principal clients the services we render and that you have availed:
    1. Submit for approval, facilitate, administer, and process applications and/or transactions with our principal clients;
    2. Respond to queries, requests, and complaints, and to improve hwo we interact with you and the public at large;
    3. Perform profile analyses, behavioral modeling, and analytics to understand needs, preferences and market trends to be able to improve and recommend suitable products and services;
    4. Reach out to you regarding products and services information, including offers, promotions, rewards, and for further personalizing your experience with us or our principal clients;
    5. Determine the effectiveness and efficacy of our marketing efforts and initiatives;
    6. Create new, or modify existing policies, procedures, protocols, and practice guidelines to protect all stakeholders from improper use or abuse of services we provide, which may include prevention of fraudulent activities;
    7. Comply with our operational audit, administrative, credit and risk management processes, policies and procedures the terms and conditions governing our services, facilities and channels, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas rules and regulations, legal and regulatory requirements of government regulators, judicial, supervisory bodies, tax authorities or courts of competent jurisdiction, as the same may be amended or supplemented from time to time;
    8. Comply with applicable laws of the Philippines and those of other jurisdictions whose jurisdiction the government of the Republic of the Philippines recognizes, abides to, and/or cooperates with or complies with;
    9. Comply with legal and regulatory requirements such as submission of data to credit bureaus, credit information companies, the Credit Information Corporation (CIC) (pursuant to RA No. 9510 and its implementing rules and regulations) responding to court orders and other instructions and requests from any local or foreign authorities including regulatory, governmental, tax and law enforcement authorities or other similar authorities;
    10. Perform other such activities permitted to by law, or with your consent.

IV. How We May Share Your Information

  1. We may share your personal data with our principal clients, subsidiaries, affiliates, or third parties under obligation of confidentiality.
  2. We may share your personal data with our subsidiaries and affiliates to likewise offer you additional products and services that we believe you might find interesting.
  3. We may share with third parties that we engage to support us in delivering services. These may involve anonymous or aggregated information to help improve our products, services, and content.
  4. We wish to assure you that we do not, and will not ever sell, leverage, trade, or otherwise exchange data for any form of gain arising from it. All our engagements with third parties shall be fully compliant with our obligation of confidentiality imposed on us under applicable agreements, contracts, memoranda, and/or terms and conditions or any applicable laws that govern our relationship with you.
  5. The purposes listed in the above clauses may continue to apply even in situations where your relationship with us has been terminated or altered in any way, for a reasonable period thereafter (including, where applicable, a period to enable us to enforce our rights under a contract with you; an indefinite period to document and archive any conflicts, disputes or grievance that may have occurred during the duration of our relationship)

V. Our Privacy Practices and Safeguards

  1. We fully recognize and appreciate the sanctity and value of your personal data, particularly as it may include information vital to your person, and so we appropriately strive to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your personal data by employing physical, technological and procedural safeguards. We train and regularly refresh our employees and agents in the best practices to properly handle and safeguard your information. Whenever we engage other companies to provide services for us, we require them to protect personal data aligned with our own data and information security standards.
  2. Equally, we enjoin you (customers, clients and users alike) to employ practices in protecting their personal data, especially in the use of the internet or any device connected to or utilizing a connection thereto, as no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage can be completely and absolutely secure. While we cannot guarantee total and absolute security, we strive to protect your personal data you make available to us and are constantly reviewing and enhancing our data and information security measures.

VI. How Long We Keep Your Information

  1. Your personal data shall be retained for as long as the purpose for which it was collected, and such other purposes that you may have consented to from time to time, remains in effect and until such time as it is no longer required nor necessary to keep your information for any other legal, regulatory or business purposes.

A1. Affected Digital Properties

The policies appearing below pertain to the use of our website(s) under the top-level domain cspi.com.ph, and includes all webpages therein, including the webpages inside its subdomains.

A2. Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

A3. Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
